Chesapeake Bay Regional Chlorophyll -a Product
This Chlorophyll-a product is based on the Chesapeake Bay Regional Chl-a algorithm (
Werdell, P. Jeremy, et. al., Approach for the long-term spatial and temporal evaluation of ocean color satellite data products in a coastal environment, Proc. Of SPIE Vol. 6680, 66800G, 2007), and generated operationally at NESDIS. The algorithm is tuned specifically to the Chesapeake Bay region to support the regional research, monitoring and management users.
